"Being raised by a Polish mother cleanliness is a must. When I walked in and saw how beautifully neat the entire home was and then spotted all of the sweet treats that had been left out for my friends and for my dog. Now that is really impressive. What a great place to kick back and relax enjoy the beauty of creation. "Chalet was just about perfect for our friends and family ski vacation. Everything was just as explained in the listing. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked with equipment, plates, glasses and silverware. I forgot to count, but I believe there were 5 different methods for making morning coffee. Enough space for everyone and dog was probably the happiest of all. Only drawback was that we had to reset the breaker on hot tub a couple times, (the owners had mentioned that to us before hand) but it did lead to one night where we couldn't use. Note - If your crew is avid skiers, the fact that Highlands shuts down the Interconnect lift (at least as of Jan 1-3 2026) at around 3pm limits ski in/ski out to half the day."

"We were a family group of 8 (one adult opted to stay home for his family’s gathering), ages 7-80! The home offered plenty of room for group activities, like puzzles and games, and individual privacy. The game room on the second floor was a popular gathering place. The more adventurous of the family headed out to parks and beaches for hikes and rock hunting. Some enjoyed a film at the charming theater in Harbor Springs. And, yes, the sauna was utilized. Unfortunately, we were not blessed with a clear night for a drive to Headlands International Dark Park, so that we’ll save for another visit. We enjoyed being together in this warm, comfortable home."
