"This was a great stay from start to finish! First off, one of the property owners (Mike) was extremely responsive to all our questions before, during and after our stay. Upon arrival, we were impressed with the cleanliness, functionality and layout of the home for our family stay - which consisted of 7 adults. We especially loved the large living room, which had comfortable seating for all, a ceiling fan, and clean, gas fireplace. The property is situated a good distance up a narrow, switchback-style road, but the views of the lake and the valley are stunning!!! Added bonus was the owner-provided telescope and binoculars to capture even greater vista detail.Check-in and check-out processes were easy and worry-free.I would highly recommend Mike, Jean and their great property to anyone looking to enjoy the region, especially if you have a large family or group."

"We had the best time here! Such a peaceful and cozy cabin. We loved waking up to watch the sunrise over the mountains. We are very happy we drove up for the first time in the daylight, but quickly got used to driving up the mountain. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Clean simple cabin in great location.We have stayed in rental homes in Julian several times and really enjoyed the location of this cabin the most. The views, deer, turkey, walkability, and peaceful neighborhood were perfect! There was some Foilage viewable from the cabin, that was what we were hoping for! Cabin had enough kitchen pots and pans etc. but bring your own foils, storage bags, favorite spices, etc. as well as all of your own toiletries. Bedrooms were cabin cozy. If you looking for a beautiful serene location this rustic cabin is wonderful. We hope to return!"

"Really charming cabin with every amenity. Magical views of Lake Cuyamaca. Really enjoyed the treehouse deck, bird watching and beautiful sunsets. Very comfortable! Hiking and lake activities were close by. Great place to escape for a weekend retreat! "
