Didnt have a room at the front so our view was of the air conditioning unit, so not to good. rooms at the front would have great views. Good indiand restaurant nearby. "Love staying here when visiting the area. It's a great location and peaceful. The rooms are lovely and great views over the river. A stone's throw from the castle and short walk into town. We love walking along to The Navigation too for a little refreshment! "
"A lovely country pub. The landlady was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets in the room. The food was exceptional and the breakfast was amazing. Even freshly brewed coffee which you do not get in hotels. We were pleasantly surprised."

Kept having to log back in on the internet, which elderly relatives found very tiresome.

"I had an amazing relaxing night at the Urban rRetreat Hotel Grantham. The receptionist was lovely and even upgraded my room. I slept so well due to the feelings of luxury and safety. "Lovely place to stay for a couple of nights. Pool/gym facilities were excellent and restaurant/bar was great!! Lovely staff. Our room was so far away from reception area….I went for a jog and started at the room and covered almost 500m before I reached the lobby! A guest laundry would have been most helpful."
