Stayed a few times. It’s in need of a touch up but worth the money. The restaurant is really good, with staff doing a great job. Mostly compliments to the stand in manager and the chef.

The location was excellent, plenty of parking, staff really helpful. Just a note, rooms are upstairs & we did not notice a lift. The room was spotless, although the decor is a bit tired & worn.

We stayed in room 17 a family room. Perfect for the 2 adults and one teenager. Room was big and clean. Very comfortable beds. We paid a very low rate for the room and I was very pleased with the overall stay. Will be staying again. Many thanks.

Good hotel with a nice view

We were pleased with our stay. We only stayed for a night. The food was nice, the bar/restaurant was busy but we still got our food reasonably fast. The view was beautiful. Shame we had no time to walk around. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking.

A good choice

We used to take our children here years ago on riverside trips and were really pleased by our four night stay. Nice clean room with very big bed, relaxing pub, good food and a quiet location with plenty of free parking space. Staff are nice and helpful. We'll be back.

It would’ve been nice to have mugs in the bedroom to make a lovely mug full of tea and also a couple of biscuits would be nice,but thank you for keeping it nice and warm. It was lovely and quiet. I didn’t have the breakfast with you so can’t comment on that. Sherry met me and booked me in when I arrived charming lady. Thank you

Welcoming staff and good food.

Nice stay at the Unicorn. Food was tasty. The bathroom wasnt the cleanest- hairs in the bath! The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The place could do with a revamp- starting to look tired.
