"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

"This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff and clean rooms. We enjoyed our stay overall but were disturbed by noises from 4am every morning (possibly because we were placed on the floor below the restaurant/entertainment area) and also construction noises from 8am every day of our 5 night stay. We would have appreciated being informed at check in that there would be disturbances. "

"The pousada was homey and comfortable. The colored bungalows made it feel a bit like a sleepaway camp and the home cooking made it feel like staying with a family. Great place if you're not looking for anything too upscale and are happy with mellow vibes. The grounds are beautifully kept and there's a nice, small pool. It's isolated on its' own more remote part of the island, but it's a short walk out to the dock to hop on a boat and explore the other wonders of Ilha Grande. "

"The scenery is unmatched. The accommodation provides privacy and a quiet space. Every morning, I looked forward to waking up so that I could eat their amazing breakfast; everything was fresh: the fruits, the juices, etc. The majority of the staff were friendly and helpful. My only criticism is that the wifi did not reach our room. When we wanted to use the wifi, we would have to leave the room in order to get any decent signal. Overall we loved our stay."
