"Nothing but good things to say about this hotel access codes sent an hour or so before check in time via text car park only £4 for 24 hrs room was spotless and smelled fresh and clean and as shown on websites (no old pictures) and a nicely set out self service continental type breakfast accessible from 7 till 10am fantastic stay thank you"

"I was very impressed by the standard and size of the room - very good value for money. I was a bit cold overnight even with the heater on as the windows seem quite draughty but other than that it was very good. Rooms are well equipped with everything you’d expect. There was a notice saying no housekeeping unless requested so I was a bit surprised that someone had been in to my room and tidied up during the day. Good that breakfast is now available. There was a fairly basic choice of items on the buffet but the cooked breakfast was good and again all very good value for money."

"Staff very friendly and were so accommodating with our party (14) Arranging a room for us to enjoy a drink away from the main bar area, due to a large function taking place. Food was delicious with generous portions It was a little tired in places,but very clean rooms and toiletries replenished even when not used Ideal location for visiting the cathedral, castle, shops and other restaurants/bars"

"The room itself was clean with nice bedding and towels. The top part of a bedside light kept flashing which meant turning it off. Also disappointing was that one side of the toilet seat bracket was loose which meant that the seat itself moved. It was a strange experience not seeing any staff. We did see a lady briefly who replenished the breakfast area."
