Price-wise, it was a good option. The location is very convenient too, since it’s very close to a mall with lots of stores and restaurants. The one thing I would suggest is replacing the carpets in the rooms, but overall, it was a good experience.
While this hotel is old, it has maintained its standards quite well. Love the staff, they are so helpful.
Because the hotel is old, sometimes things in the room need replacement. It seems to be easier to take something from a nearby room rather than actually fix it. Consequently, my room this time was missing the luggage rack and tissues. No biggy and I didn’t raise the issue. I’ve been on the receiving end of the quick resolve, so only fair.
The beds are amazingly comfortable.
Very good hotel ! They are always ready to solve any issues.
The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, I had a good stay, and everything else was fine. The only issue was that the carpet in the room wasn't very clean. Other than that, the room was comfortable, and I appreciated the good service.
Everything was just ok, friendly helpful staff. Could tell older hotel, room needed updating.

Parking was easy and free...but the overall facility is really quite dated!!!....even at $100 a night, most will expect a bit more, but the beds are surprisingly comfortable.
The property is dated but clean and will maintain the interior looks amazing. The layout the room is clean. The bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great I guess the only downside was the breakfast. It was basic. I would say there again no issues.
Hotel Was Fine, But the Breakfast Needs a Major Overhaul!
While the room was clean and the staff were pleasant, we were shocked by the quality of the breakfast. A hotel breakfast doesn't need to be extravagant, but offering simple additions like some fresh fruit, yogurt, or even a basic pastry would make a world of difference. We hope the management considers improving this, as it's the one thing that would stop us from returning.
The carpet throughout was filthy, I nearly turned around in the lobby. The actual room had clean linens, even if the decor was quite dated. You could tell that this had once been an upscale place. But even in my room the carpet was in need of a shampoo.
On the plus side, it was quiet, and there was ample parking across the street. Coffee was hot. Breakfast was toast, mini muffins cereal, yogurt and there was also a waffle maker. No eggs or other protein
The bed was comfortable. Fairly Quiet. Hotel was filthy. Crumbs in halls were never vacumed. All rooms smelled like smoke! Hotel staff tried their best to find one was wasn't as bad. Showers heads were not properly attached and sprayed bathroom ceilings.
Pay to park and pay for the pool.
Lobby poor need upgrade, rest of area was okay.
Room appeared clean with some minor cosmetics needed and a very loose bathroom facet.
Received an email for parking $5 for outside $8 underground. During check in told $10 unground free across street. Told it changed, in two days. Payed the $10, just irritating.
Looked at breakfast - not much and dirty from others and left.

Parking is across the street or under in basement and you’re charged for it. Everything was relatively clean. The hotel hasn’t been kept up with as far as updating. I did notice this morning when I got up the sheet had popped off the corner while I slept and the mattress had had a couple drops of old (you can tell it had been washed) but blood on it. Not mine lol That was kind of gross. The breakfast was waffles and muffins nothing crazy. It was a decent cheap room but we won’t be back.

My (very last minute) overnight stay was exceptional!
The building itself is not impressive in the usual sense. It is obvious, though, that it once was quite an elegant hotel! My room was quite clean and bed was very comfortable!
Every staff member was very nice and friendly!
Definitely looks like it needs an infusion of cash, but the room rates are so affordable that they probably don't have a great revenue stream.
Sad, actually! Would love to see this place dolled up like it obviously used to be!!
Hope they don't redecorate in the standard, blah decor so many places use!
Will, for sure, keep this as my favorite place to stay in Boston!!
Property was beautiful, rooms were clean, however the breakfast didn’t have much options or wasn’t restocked by the time we went downstairs. Paying for outside parking was a bit odd, totally understand about indoor parking but the outdoor option didn’t seem fair. The indoor was not available which was one of the main reasons why I wanted to stay at this location. And also, up on arrival we had to wait for staff to assist us as she was taking care of another guests needs. Perhaps a second staff memeber shift would have been helpful for the rest of guest, and myself, that we’re waiting to be checked in.

The breakfast bar was completely depleted by 0830am. No OJ. No eggs or sausage. Just batter mix for a waffle. No one attended to the bar or restocked empty items like yogurt. I guess this is what you get for $105/night. The ceiling in my room was amateurishly painted over with some small areas of peeling and cracking. The TV cable interface is very difficult to use and there are very few channels to select from. The refrigerator desperately needed a defrosting and so my sodas froze. Hot water in the sink was very slow, but the shower was fine. AC was fine. Wifi was ok. Parking is either under the building for a fee or across the street for free. Parking was fine. The photo of the pool is probably the best part of the hotel. I didn't go in but kids would prolly like it. I would not stay here with my wife or kids.
I have stayed at hotels worldwide ranging from 2 stars to 5. My expectations for a 2 star are realistic. This place does not even deserve 1 star.
Check in is at 3. We arrived an hour earlier and asked if it was ok to check in. We were told check in was at 3:00. Early check in would be $25. I was never denied early check in anywhere when rooms were clean and available. Certainly never charged $25 for 1 hour.
We then asked if it would ok to use the pool. Surprise. That would be $10/pp because we booked on Expedia.
After returning our luggage to their under hotel parking garage, we decided to kill an hour at the McDonald’s next door.
When we came back to check in, we were informed that garage parking was $10/day but they waived that. Mind you, the place was empty.
On a final note, they include breakfast but don’t have high expectations. The killer was when we went to butter the toast. Instead on individual butter cubes, they have a container in the mini fridge. Community butter.
The room was clean, no frills as expected. Needless to say, ya best to know how you want to use this property, and anticipate hidden fees. I didn’t dare push check out time beyond their stated 11:00am.

Visit Boston often from NYC and decided to come again as like the quietness, tranquility, and safety of Bedford,
There also doesn’t seem to be many other safe looking hotels in Bedford area.
Another bonus is shopping center within walking distance.
There is a gym with weights that can access while there, although not sure it’s 24 hours access. Somewhat dated, but happy to
be able to use free weights.
The pool seemed to be undergoing testing and not accessible at the time.
Stayed in the suite room this time as the last time was there didn’t have a working tub and was something needed and looking forward to.
The suite room is large and super spacious, if property invested in cleaning and updating the carpets and chairs in room, would make for a really pleasant stay.
Sometimes end up extending stay when staying, so if booking through 3rd party, hotel will request additional fee to
stay in room.
On the last day of reservation, I left to go for a run a little before 10 am and could hear phone ringing as was leaving room.
At 11:04 am as leaving room again, could hear phone ringing again which was kind of disturbing as very quiet, professional, and don’t bother anyone other than when extending reservation.
Travel quite a bit for work and family at times, and first time ever having this type of experience/encounter with front desk calling.
Could be a boundary and cultural issue, but not something expected to occur as a someone who travels quite a bit.
Now that I've stayed here, I'm shocked at the number of reviews which mention "cleanliness" as a positive. I didn't require much. Just needed a basic room with basic amenities. Unfortunately, the walls in my room had peeling paint, the entire carpet had a sticky feel to it, there was a "clean" towel with long hair on it, and there was a big chunk of something left on the floor near the bed... Maybe I got the dirtiest room in the building?
The staff were friendly but slow to respond. I stayed 3 days. On day one, I had a hot shower. On days 2-3, my shower was cool to luke warm at best. O made multiple reports to staff with no resolution nor compensation.
They are severely understaffed here. I just needed a basic place to stay. Nothing fancy. This place is not fancy, but it's also not clean and when you do have issues, as polite as the staff are, there are just too few of them to assist. You may end up with cold showers. I was so hopeful based on the previous reviews, but I will not be back.
Dear Mr. Patel,
I am writing to share feedback regarding my recent stay at the Bedord Plaza Hotel. This was my first time staying there. I have previsoulsy stayed at Patel hotels throughtout the country; and often seek them out as from most of my experience is that they are family run and show pride in ownership. While the location was perfect for a visit to Mintue Man Park; I felt it was important to bring to your attention several aspects of my stay that did not meet reasonable expectations. My goal in sharing this is to assist your team in improving the guest experience. Housekeeping & Cleanliness: Upon arrival, the room was OK; but their was some litter on the floor. It appears to have not been fully cleaned with stains on pieces of furniture. The air conditioner was not working; buttons did not work, and I had to unplug it. The morning breakfast did not have staples such as orange jucie or apple juice or even water to drink. Ther was an overall 'messiness' to the facility. I understand that unexpected issues can arise, but I felt these incidents reflected a need for updated equipment and improved housekeeping checks and overall management of this hotel. I believe in your hotel's potential, and I hope this constructive feedback helps in refining your service standards. Basically would I stay here aagain?; and as of now the answer is no. I hope you will make improvements for future geusts.
