No person to help if issues arise… only multiple emails from an anonymous source that seemed to be scripted and did not resolve all issues. Noisy and barely got any sleep. The only positive was that it was very clean.
The room was nice - very clean, nice little kitchenette area with mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, sink, and an assortment of dishes. Once I figured out how to get my code to check in (the online form did not quite work for me) the "no front desk, no contact" check in was very smooth and the person I spoke with on the phone was kind and helpful! The location was nice - close to transit.
Rooms were clean and help was readily available. A very nice setup and was pleasantly surprised with the size of room. I’d definitely recommend Maverick Suites on Marion to anyone staying in the Boston area.
We were extremely pleased with our stay! Our unit was extremely clean, comfortable, and located in an outstanding neighborhood. We were several hundred feet from public transit, there were multiple restaurants and retail locations within walking distance, and even Fenway and Quincy Market were a possible walking distance away. We will stay here every time we're in Boston!
Great little place. My second time staying here. Love being so close to Coolidge Corner.

Would you expect tv and ac since we are not in 1964? Well, TV did not work. AC spit out black gunk which smeared like grease on everything it landed on but AC did not spit out any cold air. Room was 79 degrees for 3 days.
Bed advertised as a queen — It was a full. When we called and asked the person said “did you get your room from hotels.com? We don’t have any control over what they say.” Sure you don’t. Look we’ve used 3rd party booking for years and have never had a property use this excuse. If they are going to, then they shouldn’t be on the site. The “desk” had no room for anything but the non-working direct tv box and it wasn’t a desk. It was a thin table thing. The “chair” was a clear plastic lawnchair-ish thing. Good luck if you weight over 160 lbs. hook hangers were at the top of a 6 foot “closet” — which was a cheap wardrobe. The only solid place to sit was the toilet. Cameras were EVERYWHERE — creepy place. So you see other reviews that say the place is great? Ask to see which exact room they are letting you have. The rooms are not at all created equal. If you ask to move, they will not accommodate. They also have a ridiculous detailed policy where you can’t invite others to your room?!? Really?!? What if you are in town visiting a friend. This place is the same price or higher than many very normal well run hotels with 24 hr service nearby. They act like they are doing you a favor of not having the “hassle” of a front desk. Front desks mean AC & TV
Very pleased with my stay at Maverick Suites. I was in an economy room in the basement. Basic but it was clean and had everything I needed. It was conveniently located near to transport (green line). Would definitely stay here again.
I’ve stayed in a few older brownstones that have been converted to hotel/motel/inn, Maveric Suites is the nicest, most well thought out of them all so far. Will be staying again.
Overall good accommodation. Getting in and out was easy. In a nice and quiet neighborhood. I would just say get an upstairs room as it sounded like 300 lb people were tap dancing above me. Room was small but enough for one person.
The place was spacious, clean, quiet , and conveniently located, near to supermarkets and public transport. We stay for Boston marathon 5 nigths so price was much higher than normal, this means that even it was a good place to stay , it was very expensive. We were 2 persons but it only has 1 chair, no sofa or any other place to sit. This was my only issue.
We did not use the communal kitchen. But our room was equipped with enough plates, cups etc.
Restaurants near by were good.
Cleaning staff was very friendly. Room was clean.
Really liked that the location was close to transit.
Comfy small room and convenient location. We didn't appreciate the excessive number of cameras all over the property, one placed pointing directly at our interior, third floor door.
Room was spotless, all common areas were tastefully designed, safe keyless entry. The location was great - right around the corner from public transportation for direct access to downtown, tons of cafes/bars/restaurants in the Coolidge Corner neighborhood - quiet yet lively. Overall, a great stay.

Great location for getting off and on the train and clean. We were on the first floor and it was very loud. You would hear people up and down the stairs. And if you have people staying in the room above you, you can hear everything.

The room was clean and simple. No real amenities. A bit steep for just a room and bathroom.
