"Excellent hotel. Smart, quiet, modern room with comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. Easy short walk (15-20 minutes) to centre of Torshavn and harbour, or there are frequent free public buses stopping 1 minute from the hotel. Efficient and helpful staff on reception."

"I had a very pleasant few days in The Bird. Room was small and basic but comfortably and clean. The kitchen and dinning room are as good as you’ll get. Also a lounge for relaxing, which is great if you don’t want to leave at 1000. The only issue is they need a better system for food in the fridge as it’s full of stuff that people have left."

"what a wonderful hotel to stay in. So close to downtown and all the restaurants. I would highly recommend it as it only has 14 rooms which makes it nice and cozy."
