Very basic hotel in the town center. Clean, quiet, easy to walk to the shops and restaurants. Breakfast was somewhat disappointing, all cold foods, small selection.

Great getaway

Lovely spot and the staff were so nice. Nice view from our room. Good breakfast in the cafe where you can get lunch with a 10% discount if you are guests.

The hotel is very basic and simple. Tiny room and bathroom with no amenities, but comfortable enough. We picked this hotel for the location alone because it's in the middle of the city centre and extremely easy to get around.

Convenient and comfortable hotel

Hotel was in a very convenient location. Grocery store next door. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was included and it was plentiful. Room was adequate. Water in bathroom was very hot and good pressure. Bed was comfortable.

Nice comfy hotel even during national strike

Stayed during Atlantic Fair 2024, with strike ongoing Faroe Islands, the hotel handled ot to top stars.. didn't feel the strike nor had any issues with the stay. Thank you for your services and very warm and welcoming employees

The staff was wonderful but there are a few things to know about the hotel that I wish I knew. The shower is not separated, it's a curtain and the bathroom floor. It's very easy to make a mess since it's not enclosed. Also, if the hotel has the heat on you cannot turn it off, you can lower it and open the windows but you can't turn it off if you like to sleep with it cold. Lastly, the beds, even if it says queen or king on the reservation are just two beds pushed together. If you're someone that wants one large bed you won't get it here. Also, the beds all have a down cushion. They aren't very supportive if you prefer a firmer bed.

It is a very basic room. No one is really manning the front desk. I did have a bit of an issue getting ahold of the front desk with the phone number provided as well, but finally got through to someone. Person on the phone was nice and able to call a taxi for us to the airport, which is what they mean they provide shuttle service. The breakfast is also very basic hotel breakfast, coffee, eggs, some cereal. We were also by an exit route and people were definitely smoking cigarettes which then made our rooms smell like cigarettes (ugh). So if you don’t like that smell, be aware! Otherwise it was just fine for our last night in Torshavn! It is very central in the city.

Excellent hotel centrally located in Torshavn

Very comfortable rooms, just a few minutes walk from the harbour in Torshavn. Rooms were surprisingly spacious, and very clean. Blackout curtains kept the midnight sun at bay. Breakfast was included and was surprisingly plentiful for Denmark (more like a Swedish smorg). Overall, wonderful stay.

Recommendation. You won't be disappointed

Spent 3 nights here and had no complaints really. It is maybe a bit modest (e.g. no fridge) but most parts it's very nice. Friendly staff, good breakfast, shop right next to it and the location is very centered. Heating was a bit weird and the room very hot when arriving but nothing a little window opening won't fix.
