Good Morning Vivienne, Thank you for taking some of your time to leave us a review about our hotel. We, indeed, benefit from a great spot in the heart of the city and our friendly and helpful staff is our pride! We are also glad that you did find our beds comfy! We otherwise, also, take into account your feedback about the courtyard view, the lack of air conditioning, the lift and the handrails for the elderly. Unfortunately, the great location's mean inconvenience is the smallness of the space in general (which also apply to the patio). The old conception of the builing doesn't allow to do much change regarding the courtyard side nor the lift reaching each floor, although, we are always happy to help carry your luggage to room if needed! As for the handrails, we will keep the suggestion in mind and try to improve within the following years! Best Regards, The Gambetta Team
