The staff did not have the necessary stuff needed for the toilets. Eg. plunger…. There were no blankets or towels available.

We stayed there for 3 nights. We requested housekeeping but the room was never cleaned. Once I was told they were out of clean towels 🤔

Positive side everything but my only concern is why the evening shift employee Brook denied having coffee at that time of the day when I asked for it around 6 pm, and when I turned around, there was a couple getting coffee from the dining area. I had just arrived and I did not see it from the front desk where I was standing. I am just wondering why she did that, that’s all. The rest of the stay was espectacular with the best breakfast available since the pandemic. Thank you so much.

Almost perfect
The only problem we had thewhole time was there was too much chlorine in the pool. Our eyes and lungs were burning just from breathing it. Everything else was great.

Hotel staff was great, pool was nice, hot breakfast was great. Outside had a begger behind hotel, wife didn't feel safe alone.

I chose Fairfield because I thought it would be better than the other hotels My expectations must have been too high The room wasn’t cleaned very well There were 2 adults 2 children. One bed didn’t have a sheet and there were only 2 bath towels one hand towel and no wash cloths I could here the breakfast staff complaining about the lack of product Like I said maybe my expectations were too high

Shame on you Marriott
Room a bit small. Refrigerator in room not working. Was not replaced. Given another room, but turns out, upon opening new room's door, it was already occupied! At breakfast neither waffle machine not working properly. Scrambled eggs not appetizing looking.

SO disappointed!
I expected tje Fairfield Inn to be super-nice/clean would go without saying etc. It was more expensive than the Comfort Inn we stayed at rhe night b4. Rhe room was dirty and no soap and shampoo etc. When I pointed this out the front desk girl said there was nothing she could do! Please contact me.

First room, they assigned us to was filthy, they gave us the room next-door and that was filthy. We told the girl at the front desk, and she said that she had nothing to do with housekeeping, and they were gone for the day. In the morning we spoke to Isaak who was behind the front desk and asked to speak to the manager, and he said that she was not there, and he would text her and have her call us, we did see someone in the back office, who knows. Anyhow, we haven’t heard anything. Isaak was very sympathetic and polite. He said there was a new housekeeping staff, and he would find out who had cleaned the rooms. Anyhow, we stayed in the second room, despite the mess because we didn’t feel like changing again. Icing on the cake, at the breakfast I had a packaged cheese danish, and when I opened it there was mold on it.

Great breakfast in comparison to other comparable hotels. View was lackimg. Staff were confused and opened our door twice. I think there was some miscommunication with housekeeping not being told the room was occupied.

The tub was rusty and nasty. The room wasnt the best clean wise. The breakfast was good, when the food was there. We sat there for 35 minutes and sausage was finally brought out, eggs never were refilled. It was a little noisy around 2am, sounded like a garbage truck throwing down a huge can....repeatedly for almost an hr. I dont think thats what those booms were, but thats not the hotels fault. The gym was closed for repairs, and the pool was big enough for maybe 5 people. Thats honestly the smallest pool ive ever seen. Overall, not a bad hotel, just not great.

The staff were nice. This hotel is in a great location. However, the first room we were given had not been cleaned/made by housekeeping. We had to carry our luggage back to the front desk to get another one. The gym was closed for renovations. The second morning we were there the hotel had no hot water.

This is our favorite place to stay in Boone and we always look for Brooke. All of the desk clerks are kind and helpful, we just love seeing her sweet, sunny face! Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, as always. Breakfast is included and always good.

Very disappointing stay for a $325/night Mariott
Had the absolute worst experience for a Marriot hotel ever. Place was very dirty. All trash cans in hallways and commonspace were overfilled. Was placed over the main entrance so had to listen to front door opening all night long. Had a view of the main hotel sign out our window rather than the mountains we expected. Were out of hot food for breakfast. And all for $325 for the night. Very very disappointed.

Choose this Fairfield because the one in Hendersonville the night before was so excellent. In comparison this one was "ok" . Bed/pillow was not as comfortable. Breakfast satisfactory.
