Boonerang will keep you returning Again and Again! This secluded 3br/2ba chalet is conveniently located between Boone and Blowing Rock. It's just minutes from Wahoo's Rafting Adventures, Appalachian Ski Mountain, the Blue Ridge Parkway, outlet shopping, Mystery Hill, Appalachian State University, restaurants and Tweetsie Railroad. You can hear the Tweetsie train whistle echoing down the valley! There are nearby opportunities for golf and fishing. You'll love relaxing in the great room by the gas log fireplace. Boonerang has floor to ceiling windows, and a deck for enjoying the beautiful mountain scenery and long-range views. Boonerang has a charcoal grill and a well-equipped kitchen for all your cooking and baking activities! Enjoy the smart TV in the great room or the extra TV in the bedroom with lots of DVDs and VHS tapes for rainy day entertainment. Our altitude is 3,700 feet, higher than Boone and even cooler in the summer. In the woods off the deck our visitors have seen deer and wild turkeys ambling by. Come to Boonerang. As a visitor reported: “It's absolutely charming.” MAY 2024 UPDATE: Last access gravel road has been paved.

Awesome stay!

My friends and I had an amazing stay. The property is close to Boone and near a bunch of fun things! It was very clean and the owner was so helpful with any questions. Definitely recommend!

Definitely steep entrance. Bad weather will definitely snow chains. Plenty of bed space. Everything worked. Easy to get to AppSki Resort

Blowing Rock Rental

This is an old house that has never been updated. The furniture is old, the bathrooms are small and the water pressure, particularly in the upstairs bath is very low. The house has a musty smell. The first block of Sarah Ln leading to the house is in very poor condition. It is an unpaved street with numerous sizable potholes as you turn onto the street and go up the hill. Cars can bottom out and it would be treacherous in snow or icy conditions. The house is not worth the money particularly when the cleaning fee, taxes, and fees are included.
