The Badger's Den is a studio apartment nestled in the treetops! Enjoy relaxing out on the deck or explore the grounds featuring a waterfall, a peaceful Koi pond, and a summer house with views of Grandfather Mountain. The apartment features a luxurious colonial queen size bed and a fold out couch for extra guests. Located between Boone and Blowing Rock, the Badger's Den is ideally located to explore all that the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer!

Amazing retreat

Driving up to the Beavers Den was so beautiful and when we walked up the stairs and opened the door, we were blown away by our first impression. Adorable, quirky, cozy. We were blessed by the pastries, coffees, and having the comfy furniture inside and out. The walk to mole hill was a treat and we spent time on the porch of the summer house enjoying the views Loved it. Will book again!

Charming Little Getaway

This is the cutest little pad. Well equipped with everything you need for a little getaway and very clean. Cozy landing spot after a day of skiing or shopping at the little local shops. Owner made check-in and check-out super easy. We will be back!

Charming treetop cottage

We loved our stay. The place had everything we needed. It was cozy and a great location to downtown Blowing Rock, Just 12 minutes away. We really love the Summer Cottage and beautiful little stream nearby. The hosts were helpful, and it was a great get away.

Perfect Little Getaway

Awesome Getaway

We've stayed at many vacation homes and this is by far one of the cleanest and most comfortable homes. The host provided all the comforts of home and more. We would definitely love to visit again and recommend it to anyone who do not mind stairs.

Wonderful time - first time to the Blue Ridge Mountains, therefore, we barely made a dent in really getting familiar with the mountain area. Location was perfect giving us easy access to main highway. A nice little getaway place and if you are not into mountain stuff, this place gives you access to both civilization and mountain stuff.

Great location in the NC mountains

Badger's Den was truly wonderful. The property is conveniently located between Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, and Grandfather Mountain. The studio apartment above the garage is simple but well equipped for a couple. The greenhouse cottage was a great place to sip coffee and read a book. We had a great time and hope to revisit Badger's Den again.

Cozy Cabin Over Garage In Mountains

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Badger's Den! It's an adorable cozy studio apartment cabin over the garage, with great views of Grandfather Mountain! We loved the mountain views and trees surrounding. The cabin was very clean upon arrival, and property owners purchased pasteries from a local bakery for us that were absolutely delicious! 10 out of 10.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

The unit was exactly as described and pictured. The space was very comfortable and provided us the perfect spot for a romantic weekend getaway. It was easy to get ubers or move around town on our own. I can only hope next time we're in the area the Badgers Den is available.

Beautiful Mountain Getaway!

This property has it all. Located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and close to Blowing Rock, Boone, Linville and other scenic mountain towns yet nestled on the hillside in the woods just off Shulls Mill Rd. It comes complete with many wonderful aminities and the property owners are delightful. The entire property is beautifully landscaped and peaceful. I highly recommend!!

Simply perfect

The location is perfect between Boone and Blowing Rock about 15 min from each. It was a nice super clean studio loft perfect for a couple. Tv, coffee/tea, fire pit outside on the deck couldn’t get any better. Communication from the owners was great and welcoming. The property is like a mother in-law suite to their house. They are not intrusive at all but if you need them they are close.
