"The staff are amazing! All of them! I stayed for 2 weeks. They were all so kind to me! The only things I didn’t like: there are doves in the garage and every day the car would be covered in excrements; also, there is no mini bar nor air con. It’s never too much to emphasize how great the staff are! I feel sorry for not being able to say goodbye to the ones that work at night. They’re stars! "

"The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Bolton town centre in a quiet location next to a church. The rooms are next to the pub and restaurant, which can be accessed by an entrance out back. If you prefer to come and go without going through the pub, you are given a key to a side entrance. My room was clean and spacious and the bed large and comfy. The bathroom was modern and clean. The restaurant has a good menu. I didn’t have time for breakfast, but it looked and smelled very good! Parking is free in the pub/hotel car park just across the road. The location is perfect, away from the centre but only a short drive to all amenities. If you like walking then it's great for that. I would stay again, especially for the price."
