"I came to Cam Ranh for a day from Nha Trang because it’s home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. For me, the sea and the beach were the most important. And what a shock it was to see the state of the beach near the hotel. It was absolutely covered in rubbish and plastic, bricks, cigarette butts, and more. There were bags and bottles floating in the sea. Around the sun loungers, I found leftover coconuts from cocktails, old shoes, plastic tableware—all of which I ended up cleaning...

"Just 5 minutes from the airport, which made arrival super easy. It’s definitely away from any real local culture or dining—so not ideal if you want to explore. The beach is walkable, though there was a lot of rubbish when I visited. The room had some issues: mildew in the bathroom, used coffee spoons, and sheets and pillowcases that didn’t seem freshly changed. Prices were high for what was offered, very tourist-oriented. Still, a peaceful stay if you're not too particular."
