"Me and my friend had an incredible stay at Mhontong. We were welcomed in and felt like part of the family. The location is in a quiet rural fishing town, the locals are all very kind and gave us lots of smiles as we explored the area. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay there the best it could be. We were given lots of reccomendations of what to do in the area and had a private boat tour arranged, taking us to all the less touristy places ! We were accompanied by one of the hosts who helped translate with the boat driver and looked after us on the trip. The view from the property itself is beautiful and right in the national park. We cannot reccomend to stay here enough! Thank you so much for everything. Alisha ans Hope "

"Where to start ? Stunning Villas,spacious well equipped, immaculately clean The resort itself,well cared for, swimming pool was clean, enough sunbeds,bar service to pool via telephone. The restaurant , beautiful views over the sea to the Islands.Bi fold windows helped cool air,along with fans when needed.the breakfast,a la carte was beautifully presented and cooked. We ate in the Restaurant most nights due to quality and service. The price was good as well. What topped off the stay was the staff.From Reception to ground staff,cleaners cooks, nothing was too much trouble, they were friendly, gave us good advice, arranged transport etc. A great resort made so much better by staff who cared and who went that extra mile each day"

"The room was big but the air conditioning did not work properly I had no hot water and they started drilling in the room next door at 7.30 am also the room upstairs had a part till the early hours . So not the best stay"

"We spent a week at Paradise Koh Yao at the end of January 2026. Initially, we were assigned bungalow 211, very close to the pool, but with so many children playing there, it was difficult to rest. Therefore, we asked to change and were moved to bungalow 221, which was much better. Both rooms were in excellent condition, spacious, and with all the amenities. The hornbill,what a bird, they are incredible,surely the stars of the show. The hotel food is very good, and the restaurant atmosphere is very pleasant, especially on the sand at night. However, the service is sometimes a bit slow, seemingly due to the kitchen.One day we ordered a room service and food came in layer lunch box,something unacceptable in a 4 star property . They frequently organize good barbecues with pleasant live music. The beach is good at high tide; otherwise, swimming is impossible. Breakfast is just ok but not spectacular; perhaps it's too strict with nothing else available besides the buffet, such as a smoothie. I made a mistake in my reservation by adding an extra night, but the management very kindly refunded me in the form of a resort credit. The noisy construction of more bungalows during peak holiday season is deeply reprehensible, regardless of the comfort of guests. Loud hammering and drilling could be heard in our room, sometimes even after 7 pm. I don't want to imagine what it was like in the rooms on the hill next to the construction site,truly disrespectful"
