We have nothing but positives to say about Bluff and its "homey" atmosphere. The volunteers at Bluff Fort were terrific as were the staffs at the places we ate (Comb Ridge and Twin Rocks).

The Bluff Fort was a mustn't miss, and the Bears Ears visitors center was small but informative. Great bbq place and lodging with some good history in the area.

It's a small town and on the off season there is not a lot of food options. So plan accordingly.

Cool little town, almost half way, about an hour or two drive from everything.
"Beautiful property, very accommodating staff, the shower was excellent. The room(s) were comfortable but some updating is needed. An excellent gift shop and friendly personnel all around BUT the food at the restaurant was so bland it was awful. We tried everything (I even tossed in some Tabasco) but nada.
Plan where to eat in advance."
"The cabin was so nice! It had a great covered patio and was very spacious inside. The shower was really large and they had a pull out bed in the couch. We were able to cook dinner on a gas grill outside and cook breakfast on a hot plate. The property had a net for badminton or volleyball, as well as outdoor games my kids could play right by the porch! It was my favorite place to stay during my whole trip!"
"Very clean and up-to-date casita. Perfect for our one night stay. Loved the quiet & quaint area. The rock formations around the perimeter of the town are very unique. Also enjoyed our time at Bluff Fort & learning about the pioneers' dangerous trek to Bluff."
"This is a small seven-room motor hotel that despite its age, is in pretty darn good shape. If you’re looking for an affordable, clean, and comfortable motel to lay your head down, the Mokee Motel is for you. The bathroom and shower area has been recently updated, and the room features comfortable beds, DirecTV, large flat screen TV, microwave, and a small refrigerator. I’d stay here again. "
