"Love this place and stay here whenever in town to visit friends (if there's a room available; in summer it's almost always full!) Friendly, helpful staff and clean rooms, right on the lake, with a swimming pool and kayaks for the lake. Reminds me of a New England style camp I saw in the movies. But it's California, on the largest natural fresh water lake in the state. Thanks for a great visit every time, Skylark~!*"

"Our family including our dog were headed north and decided to stay at the lodge because our 6 year old loves fishing. It was safe, clean, accommodating, pet friendly and the fishing dock is located directly in front of the hotel room so my son could fish with his dad while I relaxed on the porch with coffee. It was a perfect choice. "
