"We had a great time and used almost everything the house has to offer. The fire pit, pool table, bbq, etc. all appliances are brand new. Same as kitchen ware, etc. location was 5 mins away from Southwest Harbor. About 30 mins from larger Bar Harbour and Acadia. It was not a problem for us since we were not looking to be close to a larger city. Host was responsive and instructions spot on. Would totally recommend."

"My family had a wonderful stay in this house. Between hiking in the Schoodic Peninsula, visiting Bar Harbor, and soaking up the view from Cadillac Mountain, we loved swinging on the porch swing, having coffee on the front porch, and relaxing around the dinner table. "The property is spacious and in a great location. Close enough to walk into town and tennis courts. The property management was extremely helpful and friendly. They repaired clogged sinks and replaced non functioning grill during our stay. Cleanliness of property was lacking but management did try to address this issue also. "

"Amanda was excellent host and was very responsive to questions. Home was clean, cozy and comfortable for our family of 4 and dog. We enjoyed the proximity to the tidal falls which offered dark skies to observe the meteor showers and aurora borealis. Easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor (approx 45 mins)."

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It was very clean and well-supplied. The view is unbeatable. For whoever stays in the upstairs room, be careful of the slanted low parts of the ceiling - it is easy to hit your head! Our checkout time was 9am - it would have been nice for a later time since we were requested to start a load of laundry, take trash out, etc. But overall, a lovely stay and would stay again!"

"We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. "The cottage was very clean and organized. You can tell that it was recently renovated and it felt modern but maintained the Maine cottage feeling.
