The hostess was a message away when needed an was very fast at responding back. She was very sweet an was like talking to a friend from back home. "This is a remote setting, surrounded by mountains and wildlife. It is quiet, peaceful and a reminder that there are still places like this in the world. All the modern conveniences are there including Wifi and Dish network. No cellular service (but who cares?). If you are fortunate to have clear nights, you must look up and see what the night sky looks like without light pollution! It is amazing to see the Milky Way and the billions of stars. If you have a telescope, bring it. There are a host of small museums, restaurants, and day excursions nearby. The Green Bank Observatory is a fun day trip. This was our third time here, I'm sure we will be back."
