"Beautifully rustic individual triangular cottages set in the jungle in fabulous grounds, with a private jungle walk with plenty of birds and other wildlife. The whole place has a fabulous history and there are just 8 cottages with two huge swimming pools, and a full restaurant and bar to accommodate the very few guests.
The cottages themselves are sweet,rustic and functional, but not five star as Expedia would suggest, so anyone looking for five star luxury would be disappointed (apart from the fabulous pools!). That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff were very professional and helpful.
The hotel and resort are just off the main road to the airport and the Falls, so a little noisy but well located for taxis and buses (and the wildlife sanctuary next door, which runs guided tours in English every day at 10 am). The town of Puerto Iguazu is nothing special, and clearly the visitors are all here to see the falls, which are absolutely spectacular.
Would definitely recommend Overo for its rustic charm and tranquility, with great staff and fabulous swimming pools."
