Review Anniversary Trip
Check in instructions and directions were easy to follow. After a long travel we got to the property to find no toilet paper at all in the property. We immediately had to get back in the car to go to the local grocery store to use their restroom and buy our own toilet paper. TV has Only local channels all channels are listed but owner doesnt subscribe to them. It is not a smart tv so that should be disclosed so someone could bring their own roku. Property is pet friendly but we did not bring a pet but had to constantly clean all our items and selves from left over pet hair all weekend from lack of cleanup frim previous guests. Washcloths were dingy and had rust spots on them. The bed mattress is comfortable but was the loudest creakiest bed we have ever slept on. One of us had to sleep on the couch as it is too loud for partner if you need to move. Dead Bugs were throughout the inside. Positives were coffee pods were available for coffee in the Kuerig. Property is close to downtown and quiet. We were just disappointed by overall as we have used this property company for rentals several times now and this was our first negative experience.

Great location, pleasant stay, update the sign out front
Was in town for the Real Ale Bike Ride, it was a perfect location, close to everything in town and a short ride to Real Ale Brewery. The place was a bit confusing to find because the VRBO name of the property didn't match the sign out front but everything else was great!

Get away at the Heyday Getaway cottage
Heyday was quiet, clean, cute, cozy, convenient, well equipped and well located for visiting Blanco by foot. Having a washer and dryer for our two week stay was very nice. We also enjoyed watching the deer in the early evenings. Neighborhood dogs greeted our comings and goings but were quiet at night.

Cute place
Clean and cute cottage. When they say bare nessecities, their serious. No. Drainer for pasta, no can opener, no wine opener no hot pads. Resturant selection is pretty much died burger or pizza. After fishing just some home cooking would be good ; but bring what you need. We had a wind storm on our first night and the owner was quick to fix it . Bed was ok. Bit firm for me but my husband slept well!

It was centrally located in Hill Country and just 30-45 mins more or less adjacent cities like Fredericksburg, Boerne, Johnson City, Canyon Lake and Kerrville! Perfect to whatever we planned for our Labor Day weekend as a family.

Not an ideal place for 4 adults
The cottage was cute, but it is not the ideal place for 4 adults, the couch pulls out into a bed but you are basically laying on the springs very uncomfortable we was miserable all night. The bed in the bedroom was very uncomfortable as well it was very hard. The pictures on listing makes the cottage look bigger than what it really is, it is very small not much room for 4 adults to move around in. We thought it was a pretty expensive for what it was, a lot of additional charges are added as well. For instance if you have more than 2 guests they charge an additional $25.00 per day per adult. Not personable, Never got to talk to owners, you only talk to this Hill Country Premier Lodging. We asked if we could check in early couldn’t do that because not only the housekeeper cleans the cottage but was told we had to wait on some team that gets the cottage ready, but I’m not sure what exactly what they do. It was the only thing left available around the area because we didn’t decide to go anywhere until last minute so that is why we booked this place. This wasn’t a place for us, sorry we won’t be back.

The property's maximum occupancy of 4 guests is the absolute maximum guest count the home can accommodate at anytime. This was determined by our local fire department. Rates are based on the number of guests entered in the reservation quote – any additional guests may incur additional charges. The occupancy listed is the max occupancy this property can accommodate. This is disclosed is the listings description prior to booking. If the booking on VRBO was reserved for 4 guest, these charges would have been worked into your final quote. The choice of bedding and mattresses is the home owners direction. We are so sorry if it was not a good fit for you. We will be sure to make our homeowners aware of the discomfort you experienced and see if they are interested in replacing the sleeping accommodations on the property. As for an earlier check in, depending on if someone is checking out the day of your arrival, we are happy to try to accommodate your request. Typically the earliest check in we can accommodate is 2pm. Please note that we are **not** able to guarantee an early check in as we must provide our housekeeping and field team proper time to prepare the home for your arrival. An earlier check in is never guaranteed prior to the day of check in as our teams work diligently to prepare hundreds of properties around the hill country in-between guest stays. A Wonderful Experience
The property was very nice and clean. We were very comfortable. We enjoyed seating at the backyard, listening to birds singing and chicken clucking. From the backyard, we viewed a beautiful patch of bluebonnet.

Small Cabin Served Us Well
My sister and I enjoyed 2 nights in March. A great location to come-and-go for brewery and winery visits in Blanco, Johnson City and Hye. Simple yet stylish interior, outdoor spaces also available. Gracious host and easy check in/out. Would definitely book again.

Cute place

Very clean convenience location.
Very easy stay, cool when we arrived and relaxing the whole time. Need shelf in bedroom closet door for hats and shoes and curtain over kitchen sink as neighbors can look in and it will help with high temps.

Very Relaxing
Felt brand new and was spotless when arrived. Had a gated area for our dogs and was the perfect place for star gazing. We really enjoyed the quiet inside the cabin. It is situated near a semi busy road so while we were outside it was a tad loud but not a deal breaker at all. We will be booking this again!

Needed a little time away from home. It was great especially since we were able to bring our fur baby. Only thing would be need to bring a citronella candle or some type of mesquito repellent if sitting outside.
