"This was a great spot if you’re visiting the area! The unit itself was one of the cleanest, most updated and best stocked VRBOs we’ve stayed in with regards to kitchen utensils, toiletries, towels and linens. " We're regulars -- meaning about once a year for the past five or six years. It's always a great place. Very quiet, beautiful country setting, perched up on a hill. Apartment is clean, fully equipped, with handsomely designed and uniquely crafted woodwork and furniture. Larry and Lu are gracious, respectful and accomplished people, and have always made us feel at home. We'll be back! "

"We were in La Crosse for a tournament. Wanted somewhere quiet but close to ball field. It was a very quiet spot, kitchen was well stocked, and beds were very comfortable. Our host was super. She gave us info on the area, bought the coffee, and even made chicken on the grill. We could relax by the dock."
