"Room was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was confusing due to buffet breakfast being held in on-site restaurant. Small seating capacity and not much variety in food."
"our rooms werent ready for check-in when we arrived we had to go wait in town with all of our stuff and we came back hours later to find them still not ready. staff was unhelpful and difficult. other people in the hotel got locked out of their rooms and got no help from front desk and they had to find a different place to stay since they couldnt get back in. people were loud in the rooms all day n night and dogs were barking and going crazy."
"Driving up to this motel it looks much worse than the pictures give off. Luckily when you go into the rooms, they look cleaner, but even then i still found a bunch of hairs and what looked like dead skin on the sheets and pillows. They gave us a room without a microwave or fridge when we booked a room with both of those, but after talking to the guy at the front desk he resolved that for us by moving us to a room with those things. Our bathroom door wouldn’t close. All in all, it’s fine if you literally just need a place to crash for a bit, but it made me feel icky and i don’t think I’ll be coming back."
"FAR overpriced for what it was - but to be expected Memorial Weekend. Beds were comfortable, and room seemed clean, but smells of weed in the stairwell, and at night a horrible stench of cigarette smoke wafted through our bathroom vent! Yuck!! Our shower wouldn’t fully activate and had lousy water-pressure.
Breakfast was decent with eggs and sausage - happy to see protein! However it was randomly stocked…
The pool was TINY! At first I thought it was a large hot tub. Super disappointing - deceptive photo on the booking site. The hot tub was gross and dingy and small as well.
Friendly staff.
Overall, this might be worth $95/ night… not more."
"Found bugs in the first room, they said they would clean it and that didn't happen. They moved us to a new room and the carpet was so dirty we asked for a vacuum to clean it ourselves. When I checked out and told the front desk about our experience they did not offer a discount or refund. Also, breakfast was a very minimal continental breakfast, not worth it. Will not be staying here again!"
"Great little independent hotel. I see some other reviews have spoken about the nearby train going by and the thin walls. The train is definitely close, but once I was asleep, I never heard it again. And I never did hear any of my neighbors either, so I guess your mileage may vary.
All in all, a surprisingly spacious room, very clean, with a clean bathroom. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful with a great attitude.
No complaints, no notes."
