"Really want to rate “3.5”. Motel was adequate; breakfast included. Bathroom grout and tile would benefit from deep cleaning. Guest families enjoyed the pool. "

THE RED COTTAGE -Great location! Pet friendly. Long-term stays are welcomed!

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (166)
"We are firmer residents of Black Mountain and still travel back for work, community events and of course catching up with our favorite people. Our stay was wonderful! Pet friendly because our sweet fur baby Samantha is part of our
family
too and loves all of her BM hangouts. John and Monica were amazing with communication and making sure we had everything we needed... including a highchair for our son so it was one last thing to pack. The location is top notch, the cottage is so charming...

The Monte Vista Hotel

3.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (1002)
"We stay here regularly with
family
nearby. Location is great for enjoying Black Mountain. Front porch, lobby, backyard areas very welcoming and nice. Rooms need updating! Outdated plumbing produces no water pressure and irregular temperature. Toilet seat was very loose, which I would have reported, except that the front desk was busy."
