"The staff are lovely and the location is great
The rooms are dated and need refurbishment. The bed was uncomfortable and the king size bed was covered with two small sheets rather than one big one.
The sink had a big crack in it. I wouldn’t have sold that room with that sink.
There’s a lot of noise from restaurant patrons leaving and the people in the rooms above made a lot of noise at 2am.

"There was a nice feel to this hotel. It felt homely with it's creaky wooden stairs and beautiful bannister; when we came in late at night and let ourselves in through the big door with a key and crept up the stairs to our room so we didn't disturb any others, it felt like coming home!

"We were there just over the past wknd. Great location to everywhere. The furniture is a bit old style, the floor made a bit of squeaking sound. Just over a night, so, it’s ok to us. The room is quite spacious room with big TV, but we didn’t bother to use it and used our iPhone and iPad instead. The only tiny complaint is that the bathroom floor need to swiped cleaner. "This hotel has so much potential unfortunately it wasn’t to the normal standard that a three star German hotel is. The restaurant was open from 6 pm till 8 pm for dinner if you arrive at 7:45 pm it’s too late and that is ridiculous as for breakfasts The cheeses and hams and eggs weren’t replenished so choice was greatly limited.
