MERCURE x1 night

X1 night at Hameln, hotel good location for getting into beautiful old town, not so good food at Ambrosia. Missed the Pied piper museum as arrived to late and not open to couples on Mondays but enjoyed the stay

Nice and clean

Nice and clean, comfortable rooms. Shame there is no kettle in the room meaning you have to go down to use a machine. Also the restaurant was not open in the evening so had to go out and find somewhere to eat.

Ideal for a city break in Hameln

The Mercure is ideally situated by old Hamelin, within a five minute walk you're in the heart of the old town. The hotel isn't a new build but has been well maintained. The is a small parking place at the front of the hotel for approximately a dozen cars. We arrived late evening and it was full so parked in instead in the underground parking for the town hall, which has a direct exit for the hotel and costs €8.50 and via the hotel. The breakfast offering is a wide selection from continental, German, and cooked with a great selection of coffee, teas and quality juices. Although breakfast is included automatically, it shouldn't be missed. We were travelling as a family with two children aged 10 and 7, and it was easy to cater for them. Would also recommend Cafe Am Ring across the park to the hotel and we ate well there too.

Wir waren rundherum zufrieden. Sehr gute Lage zur Altstadt. Super Frühstück! Preis/Leistung stimmt. Mangelnde Konstruktion der Duschkabine. Mann muss superschlank sein um die Türe auf und zu machen zu können.

Super freundliches Personal. Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und für jeden etwas dabei. Sobald etwas fehlte, würde es wieder nachgelegt. Hotel war fußläufig aus der Altstadt und auch vom Boots Anleger erreichbar.

Personal war sehr nett, das Frühstück lecker und reichhaltig, die Umgebung super. Parkplätze nur sehr begrent und unter Kastanienbäumen, das Parken in der Straße (kostet Gebühren) ist empfehlenswert. Das Zimmer war ok, sauber aber super heiß, ohne Klimaanlage. Bad relativ alt. Leider keine Bar o.ä. im Restaurant. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel, aber keinesfalls den hohen Preis wert.

Sehr schönes Hotel direkt am Park. Angestellte alle sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Zwei Sachen haben mich nicht zu 100% überzeugt, die Matratzen sind viel zu weich und die Balkonbrüstung im 5 Stock ist viel zu niedrig auf keinen Fall für große Menschen und Kinder geeignet! Sonst war alles super vorallen das Frühstück, es hat an nichts gefehlt!
