"When pulling in we thought, “Very Bates Motel” looking. Boy were we absolutely wrong!
We were greeted right away by a sweet woman (sorry didn’t get her name), who checked us in. The property is very cute. There’s a little seating area with a nice view.
We were pleasantly surprised to see a stream cutting through below our room, we wished we brought fishing poles for!
The highway does sit close, but didn’t bother us.
In the cute, very well kept room, they have a book with restaurants close by, and activities for you and your family to enjoy around town.
Highly recommended this motel! We will definitely be back when we have more time to enjoy!"
"This is a nice location with plenty of activities to amuse us. We fished in the morning, hiked, and did some sightseeing. Deer were everywhere! Our cabin was roomy, clean and very pleasant. Our host put out a lovely coffee bar, and the kitchen is well stocked. It was like visiting a friend. The one negative is small - the shower is small. I didn’t care but if you are a large person it might be a squeeze. The king sized bed was comfortable; the room had tons of space to put our things. The bunkroom was charming! We plan on taking the Grands next trip!"
"The staff is amazing. The building and rooms are dated but decently clean. The only complaint I have is that the listing said breakfast was offered but it wasn't breakfast, it was fruit and nutrigrain bars. "
"Nice cabin. Brought my wife to do a little turkey hunting nearby. The only turkeys we saw were in the front yard while we drank our coffee at 5:30. My wife got some nice pictures, and didn't have to shoot anything or pluck any feathers. Thanks for a wonderful stay."

"This cabin is cozy, beautiful & very clean! We enjoyed the fireplace and lots of stocked wood. The hostesses are very accommodating. Bathroom and kitchen are both stocked with supplies needed for the weekend. Can't wait to come back!"
