The room was spacious and our bed was very comfortable. The food and THE DRINKS AT THE TEXAN can’t be missed. "The staff was great but this is definitely not a full service hotel...it has a ton of character as it's in an old manor house with very pretty grounds and close proximity to the water. Great breakfast and comfortable enough but it would be nice if there were a bar/restaurant in the hotel - while the closest restaurant is probably a 20 minute walk away, it's not really walkable. I walk everywhere but got halfway to town and turned around as I didn't feel safe walking at night due to the narrow,...
