Great location. Great breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Easy parking in back. And our room was clean and roomy, as was the bathroom. Two nits which made me go with four stars instead of five: the shower floor/tub was incredibly slippery and there were no grab bars to hang onto for support. If we left the windows closed when we weren't in the room, we'd return to an odd smell. Not sure what it was....

6/10 Okay

Hotel Cruzeiro does have some positives: the king-size bed was very spacious and the pillows were comfortable. Unfortunately, the room design and upkeep left much to be desired. There was only one bedside table, which meant that one guest had to keep their belongings—phone, water, medicines—on the floor. This was very inconvenient and made the stay uncomfortable. On top of that, the wallpaper in the room was beginning to peel, which gave the space a neglected feel. Take into consideration that this is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. While the bed itself was great, the lack of basic functionality and the visible wear and tear were disappointing. I would suggest looking for another hotel in the area for a more comfortable and well-maintained stay.
No bedside table (only one)

4/10 Poor

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Amenities
This would be the second time staying there and unfortunately it’ll be our last. It’s overpriced, breakfast is the same menu every day with only rotating sweets, we found other guests disruptive with slamming doors and the amenities are very far and few. It’s convenient to downtown and it’s clean but that’s about it. Next time it’ll be an alojamento.
