"The staff were so kind - reception team never at around 0830 on my check in day with short dark hair and glasses checked me in. I had to ask for a early check in because I came for an exam and he was so attentive and arranged for a room to be cleaned and also treated me to some treats in the room to cheer me up and wish me good luck. This really made my whole experience of this trip so much better and I was so grateful for the empathy and kindness. The hotel itself was clean. Nice view of the lake. Comfortable beds. Good amenities in room. Continental varied breakfast. Overall excellent experience "

"On check in the reception staff didnt tell me what floor the room was, or where the lift was, we had to ask! Lovely clean room, very small bath, but lovely shower over the bath. Had food in the resteraunt which was very expensive for what we had. Car parking was payable at the desk at checkout. Parked Wednesday night to friday morning £24. Booked this hotel to be close to the Utilita arena, but it was still a long walk to the venue."

"Stayed at the Forest of Arden Hotel and overall had a really good experience. The setting is genuinely stunning, especially in the evening when the deer come out, which was a real highlight for us. It’s clearly very golf-focused, so worth knowing if that’s not your thing, but it didn’t take away from our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, although starting to feel a little worn in places. The staff were friendly throughout, and I have to give a special mention for how well they handled my wife’s and son’s coeliac requirements. Breakfast was prepared separately from the buffet, fresh, and with plenty of options, which made a big difference. We felt safe and well looked after during our stay, and I’d definitely come back again."
