"Overall still a great hotel but noticing standards dropping, no hairdryer in room, tiles are getting dirty in bathroom. Breakfast buffet choice limited in comparison to a London 5* equivalent "

"My daughter, granddaughter and I had a 2-night break. Our room was a little small for 3 of us and it could have done with a set of drawers and more storage space for our cases. However, as my grandaughter stayed for free, it was excellent value. All the staff on reception, in the restaurant and our room attendant were lovely. The breakfast, which was included, was also excellent. If we return to Birmingham in the future, we would be very happy to stay again. Thank you"

"The hotel was only half finished as of Apr 2026- the front doors don’t open properly, half the flooring is missing and there are notes apologising that the room fridge and safes aren’t available. There’s 2 other types of Ibis hotel right next to the airport- this one is a 15 minute walk away with no shuttle- I should have researched this, but it’s a lot less convenient than the others. "
