Big Bear Mountain View Cabin: Jacuzzi, Fire Pit, EV Charger

Breathe in the mountain air or cozy up inside with a nice wood-burning fireplace in a very quiet nice neighborhood of Whispering Forest located north shore edge of Big Bear Lake surrounded by the Antelope Valley with beautiful slope views waiting for you to enjoy.

A true modern classic Gambrel style Big Bear Mountain View Cabin has everything that your family needs for a comfortable extended stay to rest and relax after a fun filled day of skiing, sledding, snow boarding, hiking, biking, fishing and lake activities.

We’re looking forward to your visit and happy to host. We recently got a brand new jacuzzi for 5ppl as of 11/22/25. Any reservation made after 11/22/25 (not your booking date) jacuzzi service will be included in price per night. Any reservation prior to the installation on 11/22/25, there is an additional charge $150 jacuzzi service fee due to the lower price per night. Enjoy the spa with the mountain view while you’re relaxing and no outdoor cameras facing toward you for privacy. Jacuzzi operating hours are between 7am-10pm. Pls use with caution, we are not liable for any injuries.

Just in time for the holidays as of 12/14/25, we now have an outdoor gas fire pit for you and your family to enjoy roasting marshmallows creating a cozy atmosphere. In addition, we added a picnic table seat 8 with gas heat lamp for outdoor dining and all your gathering activities. Please make sure to clean up after use to avoid bear visitors. Fire pit activity involves open flame as well as heat lamp, use with caution at your own risk. We are not liable for any injuries.

You will have full access and share it with no one else (please do not sublet). It will be cleaned professionally before your arrival & after you leave. The kitchen is fully stocked and all essentials are provided see details below. We have EV charger 30amps and Tesla adapter works great with maximum charged over night. Spectrum mesh WiFi, work station with motorized adjustable desk for remote work, and TV with Netflix Hulu Disney Apple access and board games for entertainment.

Things To Note and Frequent Asked Questions:

• Check-in is 4:00 p.m. on the first night of your rental, and check-out is 10:00 a.m. on the morning following your last night's rental. Pls ask if you need to check in earlier depending if Cabin is ready then we can accommodate. A $50/hour charge will be added to any check-outs after 11 am that are not pre-approved. It may be possible to check out at 1 PM for an additional charge.

• The Cabin allows 8 people max for the stay and NO PETS allowed. If you hide your pets and we find out, you will be fined $500/night. Our family have severe allergy risking medical complications and we cannot take any chances.

• If you bring more than 8 people from your party, we will deactivate code and you will be locked out or subject to eviction from the property by the city authority. This is STR city law and we take it very seriously. Rest assured your privacy is greatly respected and valued.

• Parking is in the front driveway and under carport which has room for 2 vehicles. Warning that the driveway is semi-steep and we are not responsible if your car gets damaged.

• There is no parking on the street. It is against city ordinance, and you may be towed. AWD & 4x4 is recommended during winter months due to the steep driveway and road conditions. We are not responsible if you are not able to get up the mountain or the driveway.

• Bedroom: Fresh quality linens pillows and blankets that are professionally laundered, and beds are made up for you when you arrive. The master bedroom includes a full size sofa bed that can sleep 2 more people, as well as portable crib in the closet of the hallway bedroom, and a twin sofa bed in the living room for handicap accessible next to the front door on the side of carport on the ground floor of the house.

• In unit laundry stacker with detergent included for your convenient (unlike other rentals you have to buy your own).

• EV charging 30amps and Tesla adapter are available located inside the shoe bench. Must return to the same place, if damaged subject to charge.

• Bathroom: Heated bidet toilets to keep your bum warm and clean. Kirkland shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, hair dryer are included for your convenient. One set of bath towel and face towel for each guest so you don’t have to bring your own.

• Kitchen: fully equipped with new: pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, flatware, and glasses! Open concept with new appliances, plenty of cabinetry for storage. Electrical kettle, espresso machine, coffee grinder, filter & pour over bloom is available for your morning routine: bring your own beans & cream, we have sugar. We ask that you must empty the refrigerator and throw away any perishable foods when you leave. Other essentials are included as well for your convenient such as, kitchen accessories and towels, dish soap, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, storage containers, coffee filters, hand soap liquid, kids utensils, etc. Most rentals would make you buy your own.

• The cabin has a wood-burning fireplace. Firewood is not provided you must buy your own and place the wood in the designated crate. Do not remove or clean the ashes from the fireplace, housekeeping will do that. Warning do not touch the fireplace when hot, we are not responsible for any injury, use at your own risk.

• The cleaning fees includes trash service up to 2 bags, any excessive trash bags will be charged a $25 fee per bag. If you’re staying through Monday which is the city trash pick up day, you can take out the trash bins by 6am onto the street about 3 feet from the property.

• The property has a BBQ grill and now offering Spa Jacuzzi as if 11/22/25. Firepit and wood burning in the backyard or outside around the property is not allowed and is against the law.

• On occasion, during extreme weather, Big Bear can experience rolling power/internet outages. Rest assured, they will restore it as quickly as possible. There are candles and flash lights provided for emergency. Please notify host immediately. Unfortunately NO refund for outages.

• During winter snow season, we provide a one time plowing service per booking if the snow is about 6inch high. Anything less, you can use the shovel tool in the backyard to remove snow. Additional snow plow will be extra charge.

• The furnace is in the living room and another upstairs hallway. There is a portable Dyson heater and window portable AC provided for the smallest bedroom and the other 2 bedrooms have the AC split unit with heater to keep you warm during winter months and cool during Summer months. In addition there are ceiling fans in each bedroom. Pls notify host if heater and AC stop working or have problems. We will call our handyman for help within the hour.

• Any damages or extra cleaning than the usual will be charged accordingly; such as trash, dirt, shoe prints, stains, scratched surfaces, dirty dishes and ants or roach infestation, as well as flood/water and fire damages.

• Please review and agree to all House Rules and info prior to booking. A signed good neighbor rental agreement and ID is required by Big Bear City STR law before we can give access to cabin and property. Absolutely NO PARTIES or EVENTS ALLOWED! We ask you to take care of our cabin like it’s your own.
