"The room was very clean, front desk was so friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. The only thing I can complain about is there was no water in the vending machine. Pool was up and running and for being right next to a busy street, it was surprisingly quiet! Definitely would stay again. "

"This hotel is an affordable gorgeous oasis of historical re-creation of early life in Chico, CA. It’s within walking distance of shops, restaurants, Bidwell Park, and the beautiful campus of Chico State. I was in room 209 which allowed me to see my vehicle in the parking structure through my window. The room was warm because the AC struggled to keep the air cool, but I put the AC on 62 degrees with a high fan speed and it kept things comfortable most of the time."

"Ordered the big room with the jacuzzi tub and it was absolutely nasty. Had hair literally everywhere in it I had to scrub the jets myself, ran cleaner through the jets and drained it 3 times and still had hair coming out. Hair in the towels. Room was overall just dirty and nowhere worth the money. They were accommodating for the most part besides calling me 3 weeks later claiming that I took their green blanket. (Wouldn’t want to bring anything home from there with how dirty the room was). Pretty disappointed with my stay as it was 300 for 2 nights and it was so gross you couldn’t use the one amenity that sold the whole room, the tub. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone until they do a very thorough cleaning of the place. "
