"Obviously the view is the selling point of this house. Lovely!! Can't get enough of it. Location is excellent, The house sits on a quiet road...we were surprised, considering it's peak fall foliage. The cute little park just down the road had better access to actually get close to the lake, since this property's access is exactly as pictured, with steep stairs and no place to walk. But Tabacco Park is very close. We found everything clean in the house. The only thing that didn't work was the TV. Unfortunately, even with numerous text communication with the host, we weren't able to take in Saturday football games. It wasn't for lack of trying, the host gave many suggestions to get the TV to work. It just never did. Disappointing. But, the effort was appreciated. Things I really liked...the view & location. The privacy was great, even though that meant planning ahead. The stars!! The concrete countertop. The big, sturdy dining room table. The comfortable bed. Just a couple of changes I would suggest. Add a door or half door leading to the lower level. Or even a gate that works. There was a gate that didn't fit the opening, though we were able to prop it up. We didn't want our pup running all over the house so we propped the gate up and confined ourselves, and our pup, to the upstairs. Also, add an updated shower head. It wouldn't be expensive, but would be nice. Overall we were very happy with the house!Thank you!"

"The house was perfect & set up with everything you could imagine & then some! We all truly enjoyed our weekend. The only suggestion I have for anyone looking to stay, is to be sure you have all of the food & drinks you are going to want. Although there is a convenience store close by, that is pretty much all there is. We made sure we planned accordingly as we did do our research of the area, but others may not. Communication with the owner was frequent & there were no issues with the house. It was so cute & cozy!! Thank you for an amazing experience "
