"This was a very beautiful cottage to stay in! From the moment we pulled in, being greeted by the friendliest cat, to the gorgeous river running through the back yard, everything is exactly as pictured, spotless, Grill was great, The cooler they have as an extra, came in perfect for our picnic lunch! Very Quiet, very relaxing, home to stay in for a very laid back relaxing vacation. The sound of the water at night on the deck is beautiful. Yard is manicured lovely! Fire pit, having wood there was awesome! The little town is peaceful and old. Many attractions within a very reasonable distance from this residence! Hidden Gem in Keweenaw's Outdoor Playground

10/10 Excellent
"We had stayed other places at Bete Gris and admired this place’s dreamy cabin vibes for years. We were exited to stay here this year. It did not disappoint. It’s got a private location but still a great view both of the lagoon and the Lake Superior. In summer you get a great sunrise from the porch. Access to the lagoon is on the property, Lake Superior is a 5 minute walk. The house was spacious, clean, cozy, and well supplied. Our family had a great time."

Cozy Cabin on the Lake

Cozy Cabin on the Lake

8/10 Good
"The host was responsive to my questions about the area informing me of where to go for Pasties and how to get to the location of the cabin. Unfortunately there were quite a bit of lights that were not working throughout the home. Also the main bathroom shower needs caulking as it leaks causing the rug to get damp. We were left with 2 garbage bags for 4 days for a family of 6 so had to purchase some in town. On a high note we loved the big windows looking out at the lake."
