"Our stay at the Dennison was quite pleasant. We arrived after hours and all that was needed was a phone call to have access to the lockbox. The room is quite grand,in terms of size ,furniture and draperies. The grounds are lovely. I did not picture the hotel to be in a semi industrial area ,but it was. It also was next to a railway track, with trains passing by. It really didn't bother us. Good quick access to the A1. "

"We were there for a long stay. Most motels in Rockhampton cater for overnight stops and as such this one is fine. It's further away from the highway than most so is quieter. Some of the bathroom fittings and the bedroom furniture are showing their age and the fridge was stained, rusty and with some inside parts missing, the worst we've ever encountered."

"We were very happy with this stay! Washer dryer a big plus. Kitchen adequately stocked for a simple meal. Everything was clean and tidy. Comfy bed! Make reservations for dinner within walking distance. Everything was booked and we ended up with fast food type stuff. Yuck. Cafe downstairs was excellent for breakfast! Tons of birds roost in trees behind hotel. Very loud at dusk but quieter at night. Gone during day. "

"The door was very hard to shut. It had to be slammed shut. The aircon in the common are and 1 of the bedrooms didn't work. The place was otherwise ok. "

"Yes. The bed only had one pillow. No blanket. No toilet paper when we arrived. No glasses to have a drink. No spoons to stir a cup of coffee. There were ants on the floor and in the bathroom "

"The room was very clean. Batbroom, spotless!! Tue room was easy to navigate to and the pool was great. Price was competitive against other properties but was way nicer! Slightly out of town in parkhurst, but we liked that about it"

"Conveniently located and perfect for a quick, efficient overnight stay. The carpark was also very convenient, with direct access to the rooms. The room and bathroom were impressively clean. There was a bit of a musty smell when we first entered, but the air cleared as soon as we turned on the air conditioning. I especially appreciated that the bathroom didn't steam up after a shower! The bed was comfortable, though worth noting it’s two singles joined together (fine as long as you don't sleep right in the middle). The "kitchenette"was well-stocked with a fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, and even tea/coffee/milk. Don’t expect a view, but for a late arrival and early departure, the key safe made everything seamless. Very reliable and tidy."
