House on Havelbogen right on the water with a canoe and a dock, apartment with a terrace*****

This architect-designed house with two holiday apartments (built in 2010) is located right on the water. The garden opens onto the approximately 15-meter-wide public riverside park with trees and a grassy beach, which also leads to the house’s own dock. The house is furnished in a modern, homely style and is suitable for use in any season. You can enjoy the idyllic countryside from the terraces and watch life on the water. The nearby old town on the island invites you to visit cafes and restaurants. During the cherry blossom festival, the surrounding orchards come alive. And perhaps you’d like to attend the opera in Berlin in the evening? From here, almost anything is possible—there are countless options for day trips. Thanks to its location between the island and the train station (both 1 km away), you can easily take the regional train, which runs every half hour, to Potsdam (Sanssouci, Central Station 10 min) and Berlin (Wannsee, Zoo Station, Central Station 40 min, Friedrichstraße, Ostbahnhof). A canoe/Canadian canoe (2 adults, 1 child) is available. You may use the shed for bicycles. Washing machine and dryer available upon request.

The terrace apartment is located on the ground floor.

Immediate surroundings: The boat dock is located directly in front of the house and is available for shared use (50%), so you can launch your canoe right from the house. The mooring area measures approximately 2 x 5 metres with a water depth of at least 80 cm and is available upon request.
For young children, there is an indoor playground in Werder; for older children, there are horseback riding opportunities in the area (see links).
Tennis courts are only 500 metres away and must be booked directly with the provider. Fishing permits are available in Werder.
The Scala Kulturpalast, just 200 metres away, is a hidden gem featuring a variety of events and films.
In winter, the Havel River is often frozen over, allowing for ice skating and ice sailing right in front of the house.
Yacht charters and boat rentals are available at several locations nearby.
In the town centre, in Werderpark, and in the Havel floodplains of Werder, you’ll find several restaurants, cafes, and excellent shopping options.
For wine lovers, the Wachtelberg opens its outdoor wine bar, Weintiene, from Easter through mid-October.
A newly opened water park with a sauna and other amenities is located in the Havel floodplains (Haveltherme).
