The hotel is in an excellent location and walkable to restaurants, bars, cafes, and directly across the East Side Gallery. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff is very friendly. I would stay at this hotel next time I’m visiting Berlin.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We enjoyed the roof bar. However one thing was that it should always be available to hotel guests. On our last evening it was closed for a private event - we think that that is wrong as it is described as a hotel amenity. There should be a dedicated area for hotel guests.

Very chic hotel in heart of Berlin
This was a beautiful hotel with really friendly staff. The location was great, right across the street from East Side Gallery and near S- and U-bahn lines. This area is touristy during the day but not like Mitte... it is closer to more residential neighborhoods that have great food and shops. Lots of good restaurants, some grocery stores, and bakeries nearby. The hotel restaurant was not open during our stay but the rooftop bar was very cool, drinks were expensive but view was nice with lots of comfortable seating.

The good and the bad
Good: - Great location, within walking distance of restaurant, bars and clubs - Room is quiet, clean, spacious - Great bed - Nice rooftop bar Bad: - Service could be improved. For a hotel with such high ratings would expect friendlier, more efficient and/or more helpful service. So perhaps just moderate your expectations - Amenities lacking like pool, there is a gym - Bicycles not great quality and pricier.

3 day trip, first thing to say is to compliment the housekeeper for a spotless room every day. Good location by the East Gallery and MB Arena. Quiet rooms, stylish, good breakfast, more hot options my only -ve. Single duvets covers on a queen bed, please, hotels, gives us a double!

Hotel Indigo was A+
From the moment we checked in (we had had long train ride and we’re totally exhausted), to the moment we left, this hotel proved to be amazing! The host at checkin was incredibly helpful and kind and got us checked in quickly. Our room completely blew me away! It was clean and beautiful and even overlooked the Spree! I was worried initially that it might be a little loud due to the location, but it was totally quiet and the windows were soundproof. The location was perfect and it was easy to get around. Our room was always cleaned thoroughly and it was great place to come “home” to! My only recommendation would be to allow the air conditioning to go to a cooler setting- we were a little warm during the night, but not bad. Thank you, Hotel Indigo!

Great location across from the East Side Gallery and a short walk from my favourite place in Berlin, Yaam. The bus stop for tours is right outside and transport around the city is easy from here.
