Our large room was excellent. It had been recently refurbished, along with the en-suite shower room. It had a fantastic view of the water. The food was good and Chelsea was a very pleasant and efficient member of staff.

Clean room, comfortable bed, lovely view from the room. Breakfast was great. Staff in the pub were lovely - super apologetic when there was a loud local night (which we enjoyed - if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!). We had a car which was parked in the carpark easily. The pub itself did wonderful food and we had a very good time.

Bank Holiday Staycation

Lovely little pub/B&B with very friendly staff. Beautiful views and amenities. Our room was very pleasant but we were right on top of the outdoor area which was a little noisy at night. It was bank holiday weekend mind you!

Fantastic stay, even if it was only one night, I got there a little late, but the host opened the kitchen back for me. The beer was good as so was the open fire and views, room was great again with a sea view!! And comfortable compliment with a great breakfast in the morning, truly this place is a little gem

From the moment we arrived was a perfect fit, originally staying one night & booked another - great location and pub interior makes such a difference as soon as you walk in as exterior very traditional. Our stay was fantastic. The rooms are nicely decorated comfortable and clean The staff, especially Bruce, Phil and Renata and so welcoming, friendly and helpful which really adds to your stay The food. The food is actually breathtaking. From its presentation and freshness to its sublime taste. Wish we could have,stayed there longer.

The Crab & Lobster week stay

I was part of a group of 3 couples who came for a week's holiday. We ate every night at the pub and really enjoyed the food and service. One of the rooms had a problem with their shower, but the manager got a plumber there very quickly. All of us would stay here again.
