There aren't many hotels in Bellizona and fortunately the International is pretty good. The rooms are larger for Switzerland and the bathroom is surprisingly easy to use. It also has AC - sort of. Unfortunately the International is also on the pricey side and falls a little short with thin towels and even thinner pillows for this price point. But all in all, it's very good and I would go back.
Hotel is directly across the street from the train station. Clean and modern hotel, with a great buffet breakfast included. Ask for a room in the back with balcony, and you'll have a beautiful view of the mountains. Close to the town, we hiked to all three castles easily from the hotel. Stayed for one night in July. A perfect stop over from lake Como to Lucerne. Highly recommend.
The hotel is across the street from the train station which makes it easy to get to. The food is good and there is several places around the area which are all walkable. The rooms are clean and the staff helpful
I missed the last train and needed to stay over until the morning. This hotel is right across the street from the train station, super clean, and comfortable!
Very convenient location. The breakfast was good. The staff is helpful as I booked one additional night and they managed to arrange the same room for my whole stay.
First discovered that the shower in our original room (203) was broken and struggled to get WiFi signal. Then was awakened in the middle of the night to the air conditioner flooding our room. Had to completely pack up and change rooms in the middle of the night. As a regular traveler with Platinum status with Marriott, it’s something when I say I’ve never had to change rooms. Very disappointing experience.
This is my second stay at Hotel Internazionale and I am already planning my third. Convenient, very clean and well maintained - it is the perfect base station for exploring the region. The spa showers are great to cool off in after a long day of hiking.
This is a very well-appointed hotel directly across from the Bellinzona train station. Normally, this might cause some issues with noise, but the area is fairly quiet, especially in the evening. Given its convenience, we would stay there again.
We had a perfect stay! Close to everything, parking on site at a reasonable price. The staff was so friendly and provided a flawless service and filled every little request we had! Highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to spend some quality time in Bellinzona!
Overall a very nice hotel. Clean modern rooms. The balcony was a nice surprise. It’s a bit expensive. The breakfast was incredible. The only negative was beyond the control of the hotel, but made my stay unpleasant nonetheless. People were outside yelling & screaming all night long, well past 06:30 am. It was a Saturday night, but it wasn’t what I expected from a small mountain town.
Perfect location just opposite the train station and close to downtown. Friendly staff, good restaurant with excellent breakfast, room was basically brand new, clean, with a contemporary decor. A bit short on room amenities (no fridge, small tv, tiny safe, and just a chair as there was no space for a sofa). Didn't try the spa.
Very nice contemporary room. Welcoming staff and across the street from the train was a real bonus.

Cheaper Places Elsewhere for What You Pay.
Room was average. Overpriced for the size and luxury, typical of the area, however. Paid the full parking rate though we were unable to park beneath the building (and had to walk in the rain) as parking was full which I thought was poor. Get there early if you want to be guaranteed a spot. Breakfast would be a 6.5/10 and was inconsistent. Day one the scrambled eggs were absolute garbage - completely overcooked. On day two they were much better at first but the second batch was just as bad as day one. Other meals (mixed porrage) was inconsistent as well; different from batch to batch even during the same sitting.
Nice hotel in a good location The breakfast was good with meats, fresh fruit, hard-boiled eggs, pastries and good coffee. The room was nice and we were upgraded. The Internet connection was strong. The staff was professional, but not friendly. I thought the room was expensive for a three star hotel. The location was great because it was near the castles. The restaurants near the hotel were very expensive for the quality of food provided.
A nice room with a view of the main street. The soundproof windows really do work and the noise was at a minimal. Very nice restaurant on site. Easy walk into old Bellinzona.
After a full day of traveling around multiple cities in Switzerland, my friends and I booked this hotel last minute while on the train. We all had a very good experience. The staff were all very friendly and speak fluent English. The price was very reasonable and the room was a decent size. The bathroom is very modern and clean. If ever in the area again I would stay here and I recommend this hotel to everyone.
This hotel had something for everyone in our family. The location was lovely. Although our room didn't have a view of the lake we could enjoy the view from the many public areas. Our children enjoyed the pool and game area. We had the family room which was spacious and quiet. The buffet breakfast was very good as well. This hotel also has quite a bit of history. Check out the museum room as well.

Nice hotel near station
We appreciated that the hotel and restaurant were open late and that the location was near the train station. The accommodations were moderate, but expensive. Spa had limited hours. Breakfast was pretty bare so we did not eat there.
It is perfect location if you travel around, as it is next to the train station. It is also walking distance to town centre & big castle. However, don't expect to see the castle directly from the room.
