"Easy to park. Must admit, we expected the room to be of better quality for the price paid. Bathroom fan didn't work, and room was above bar which was noisy until gone 1am. However, we had a fabulous evening meal and breakfast was really good too. Not sure I'd return to be honest though?"

"Absolutely brilliant stay and cannot wait to return and stay again! You are in the heart of Dartmoor and this is a perfect “home base” for hikes or start other adventures in the area. The room was one of the best we’ve had on our long trip. It was so well appointed with a carafe of water, fresh baked granola, coffee, tea, town map, etc.! The breakfast was so delicious! Our host was super friendly and helpful with dinner options the night of our arrival. They even emailed a list of restaurant options in the area. Really enjoyed the well decorated interior, including the beautiful wallpaper. Everything was so super clean!"

Local pub food was very tasty & delicious. Widdecombe well worth a visit. Enjoyed walking to see the Tours. Scenery was stunning. All in all an excellent stay.Communication with owner was excellent. Accommodation was easily accessible with directions given."
