"Bel Jou is a nice, if fairly generic, property in the hills above Castries. It's a little out of the way of anything and not walkable to anything - it seemed very much apart from anything genuinely St. Lucian. But it was clean and comfortable and the restaurant is excellent"

"Wait staff at breakfast stood around talking instead of serving. Housekeeping the last day just made the bed and did not clean and we got an eye roll when we told her we were leaving in 10 minutes. Music blared at 715 am from the restaurant disturbing our room right off the patio, and then in the restaurant it was so loud you couldnt talk. Booked a massage for an hour and it was only 45 min endingat 10 till the hour and not on the hour. Shower was tepid most days.tv only worked with netflix and no cable. Restaurant was just ok. Other places nearby so much better. Overpriced for the service. A great hike on the property and very close to tet paul and sugar beach so convenient. Room was spacious and very clean on arrival. Just seems staff needs major training and facilities upgraded."
