"Eagle tower is old and run down, stay at the other towers. Front desk is not as helpful when requesting for an extra day of stay. No effort done for help. The Island Bingo staff is great. There's no valet, although there are shuttles to help take you to the parking lot, it would have been better to have a valet. Bell desk is no help either."

"Breakfast was fine for a hotel breakfast. Room was clean. I really liked that the hot tub was in its own room with its own TV. However, the sofa bed had no sheets, pillows or blankets. Even if they were there, the bed was secured shut. I was hoping to sleep by myself in that bed and give my daughter the other bed. I would have gone to the desk then, but it was late, i was tired so i just shared the bed with my daughter. "

"Was ok nothing special. Pool was to cool n lighting in pool area was not great. Had to go ask for towels at front desk. Issue after check out with payment still fighting with and nobody getting back to me about. Several emails and a few calls in already with no refund yet. Will look at different place next visit to red wing if not resolved today"

"As a pet friendly hotel, it was great. Price of stay was good. Friendly staff. Breakfast buffet was not good, limited options, nothing was fresh. Room was clean and comfortable."

"The hotel is clean, beautifully restored, and well appointed. The restaurants have great food. The included shops are interesting. And the staff is excellent. The location of the hotel between the river and the historic downtown area is awesome. For an easy getaway destination, Red Wing, MN and the St James Hotel are a perfect combination."

"Obviously an old rosdside motel, but newly remodeled inside, very clean, with quite comfortable beds. Staff (owners?) were very friendly & helpful. They even had a small welcome gift for us. Safe feeling & very conveniently located right off I94. Good value."
