"The reason why I gave the property and facilities a four star instead of a five star is due to the fact that their 3 person room is tight. It doesn't have much space for all luggages if each person has a full size luggage. I gave the area around the property a 3 star because people were riding bikes and mopeds in the alley making it a nuisance to walk with so many tourists. Regardless of these not so positive comments, I would definitely go back to stay here. All staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Lynn. She speaks English, and made sure we were comfortable. Another staff member also very kind and perceptive. She went and got me a bottle of cold water pretty much as soon as I walked in having come back from walking around outside. They were also accommodating. They didn't have an issue with us switching rooms after we stayed one night. The room we had was simply too small for my family of three. They even showed us the bigger rooms and allowed us to choose which room we preferred. We paid a little extra for a room that is meant for four people, but it was worth it."

"Since my phone wasn’t compatible with WeChat or Alipay, I faced some challenges during my stay in China. Thankfully, the staff were incredibly helpful. Ella went out of her way to assist me—she walked with me to the food pickup spot, used her own phone, and helped retrieve a delivery ordered by my daughter, who was staying at Tsinghua University. On another occasion, when my daughter’s WeChat account ran out of funds, Harry Sun helped us withdraw cash from the hotel ATM and reload the account. He also arranged our trip to the Great Wall of China, booking a car and giving us great tips—like leaving early to avoid traffic and returning by early afternoon. The restaurant staff were also very friendly and welcoming."
