Glamping in Beira

The hotel has been beautifully restored and the staff are most kind and caring

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. This property is beautiful, the staff are exceptional and the food is absolutely delicious. Our stay was completely faultless and I wish I had booked for longer. We also had the pleasure of enjoying a tasting which was world class in terms of information and passion of the host. If you’re scrolling looking for somewhere to stay, stop & book.

Rooms are excellent with a very different decor. Location is excellent. Staff extremely helpful. Loved staying there.

Amazing place. Life was perfect there. Fantastic restaurant. Helpful friendly staff. Beautiful view over looking the valley.

The hotel is beautifully designed to take full advantage of its stunning surroundings amongst the vineyards of the Douro Valley, and there are magnificent views from its many expansive terraces and communal areas. A highlight is also its own huge parklands, through which one can stroll all the way down to the river. Our room was very spacious and modern, with all the amenities one expects from a 5-star hotel. However, to us, a downside was a feeling of it being over-serviced. Perhaps it is...

For what was once a hospital, the hotel centre is a massive floor space to eat, drink, relax or listen at night to the pianist play. Rooms are comfortable and quiet with all necessary amenities.

A great place to get away to the pure air, take alpine walks and with amazing views. The staff couldn’t do enough for us and the common area are so welcoming and comfortable.

Nice clean spacious and modern hotel

A beautiful small hotel with lovely staff who try very hard to please. A great add-on is that happy hour each night features a free glass of their own bottled red or white wine. However, be warned if you have mobility issues, it is a difficult walking trail of steps and cobblestones up from the main plaza.
