"This time, we were given a room with a beautiful view. The hotel has added perfume diffusers throughout, creating a wonderfully pleasant scent. The staff were exceptionally nice and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable."

"Poor internet, no water in lobby. No fridge. Check in did not tell us about ice or housekeeping. Not enough towels. Beds comfortable! Pillows not comfortable, all wadded up. Fabulous location and quiet. Cereals in morning were not marked correctly (needed GF muesli but was granola. Fruit was old (apples)"

"Probably one of our very favourite hotels ever. The property was amazing. Our room(s) had a beautiful view of the canal and was well appointed. Beds were comfortable with excellent bedding. Staff were kind and helpful. We spent some time in the courtyard which was nice as well. Super quaint and lovely!"

"I really enjoyed our three nights at Getaway. First, it was easy to get to from Gint Saint Peters and also from Gent Dampoort train stations. It was really quiet our whole stay and the kitchenette was helpful. The place is really close to downtown and we got a lot of walking in to all the sites in Ghent. There isn't AC but we didn't really notice there is a fan that we used and the room did not get any direct sun. lastly, the lockers were helpful because we arrived before our check in time and we didn't waste any time seeing Ghent. I would stay here again without question."

The food (breakfast and dinner) were both standout, the room was spacious and comfortable and the staff very friendly. The whole place is very tranquil. We’ll definitely go back. "

"We loved this hotel, the family room was large, the beds comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Didn’t eat breakfast at hotel as we preferred to go out and eat at nearby cafes. Its position was central and it was easy to walk around Bruges which is exactly what we wanted. The staff were kind and helpful."
