"First ever time in Oregon and Jacksonville was such a delight. The hotel is in the middle of their downtown area, so perfect walking distance to everything. The room itself was so simple to check in, had a fantastic view and kept so many great details to make you understand the history of the building you’re in (like the light switches!) The bed was so comfortable and there was enough space for my husband and I to be comfortable. Loved having the bar and restaurant downstairs! Great stop, great room and would stay again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay overall. The property is beautiful, very well decorated, and has an upscale feel. The location is fantastic, with most of the town within easy walking distance. We also highly recommend the wine tour available from here. It was one of the highlights of our trip and well worth it.A few things future guests should know. First, this is not a full house rental but rather one of two apartments within the house. We initially had some difficulty finding the entrance and understanding the parking situation. The description could be a little clearer, but once we walked up to the house and saw the signs for the Tiger's Den and Lily's Pad, everything made sense.Also, there are no cooking facilities besides a microwave. This was our mistake, as we're used to renting full homes, but it's something guests should be aware of. The refrigerator is quite small and sits very low, making it a bit difficult to access comfortably. The bed was also less comfortable than we had hoped.Finally, during our three-night stay, only two washcloths were provided and we would have appreciated more, although there were plenty of towels.Despite these minor issues, the property is gorgeous, clean, and in a great location. We would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again."

"We were very impressed with this cottage. First the bed is very comfortable which made for a great night's sleep. Also there is a full sized fridge with a freezer. We were going on a trip and had a lot of food in the cooler. That enabled us to keep everything frozen as needed. I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend."
