"I loved my stay, it’s in a convenient location and the staff was friendly and helpful. I liked that they served breakfast and coffee in the morning and you could buy local wine in the lobby."

"It is a beautiful and historic building. We thought it would have been nice to have a write up of the history of the building and the Orth family. They have wine tasting guests downstairs that are not connected to the hotel guests. It is well insulated and quiet. I did have to deal with some bugs, mainly ants. It wasn't a trail coming in, but they kept showing up in the toilet and mainly the bathroom. I don't believe it was from lack of cleanliness though. The room was clean. Shutting the blinds for the evening was a bit of a chore. Most of the blinds were the type you have to pull down by the base , which was difficult only because someone had been pushed them all the way up. They have an abundance of towels, which was nice. I also like the room entry codes. It is just around the corner from the Good Bean, where we had breakfast. We look forward to our next stay for a concert at the Brit. It is very close for walking."

"Beautiful setting and very cozy. So convenient to downtown Jacksonville and a great coffee shop. Loved seeing a family of deer walking thru the property. Nice surprise seeing complimentary beer and wine in the refrigerator! Thank you."

"We love the space. We have gone many times there. So close to everything. Two issues…tried to get in after 4:00 and door would not open. Thankfully a lady came by, whom I guess cleans the room, and opened it for us using her computer device. Also we stayed two nites and there was only one coffee packet. Others than that…the stay was perfect …as usual."

"This is my third "staycation" at the Tiger's Den. The rental is always tidy and welcoming, with baked treats on the table and sparkling wine in the fridge. I especially enjoy the jetted tub, great for my tired old bones. Many thanks, Nicole, for your attention to detail. Always appreciated!"

"Great location and well laid out floor plan. All amenities required for a short stay. Unfortunately there is an ant investtation. There were ants in the bathroom, seating area and in the bed. Also the mattress is uncomfortable. If they got a better mattress and got rid of the ants I would have given this rental a five star. "
